For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

IESCO seeks 12 separate equipment packages (PKR 262.62M aggregate) for transmission/distribution operations: specialized testing equipment (injection test sets, dielectric testers, winding resistance …
eters), switchgear components (current transformers, relays, bus clamps), and ancillary items (cooling fans, PPE, generators). Scale suggests large institutional procurement with multi-manufacturer approval (Hyundai, Siemens, L&S, Areva specs). Tight 10-day pre-bid window and modular package structure indicates this is one-off capital equipment refresh rather than recurring supply; winners likely to gain IESCO approved-vendor status.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered on EPADS v2.0 platform; no explicit PEC category stated. Typically, equipment suppliers require SECP registration (if company) or valid NTN. Public Procurement Rules 2004 apply; no sectoral restrictions mentioned. Multi-manufacturer approval suggests both local representatives and direct suppliers eligible.
