For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender, written with AI from the official notice and checked by our quality rules — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
Group health insurance procurement for bank staff in 2026-27 with relatively high entry thresholds: bidders need AA rating minimum, NTN/GST registration and active taxpayer status.
Bid security of Rs 1 million represents significant financial commitment. This appears to be an annual recurring contract (given financial year reference). Highly competitive, regulated procurement via two-envelope process suggests established insurance providers are the typical audience. Tight closing timeline relative to pre-bid meeting suggests experienced bidders are expected.
Who can bid: Bidders must be income tax and sales tax registered with minimum AA rating, hold valid NTN for both income tax and GST, possess relevant tax certificates and appear on FBR/CBR Active Taxpayer List. Blacklisted firms and those in government conflict are excluded. Typically, insurance firms must hold valid life and health insurance licenses from the State Bank of Pakistan Insurance Division.
