The National Highway Authority (NHA) Central Zone is inviting e-proposals from qualified consultant engineering firms for design review and construction supervision services. The project encompasses two major works: construction of a missing cloverleaf loop and improvement of local traffic connectivity at the junction of M-1/M-2 motorway at N-5 (GT Road) in Islamabad at Chungi No.26, and improvement and rehabilitation of GT Road from T-Chowk to Banth covering kilometres 1511+500 to 1525+000 (both Northern and Southern Bound carriageways) on N-5. The tentative cost for design review and construction supervision is Rs. 50.00 million. This is a single-contract engagement for consultant services in Federal territory covering critical highway infrastructure.
Eligible bidders must be reputable consulting organizations with valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration certificate for the financial year 2026-27 in relevant engineering fields, and must be enlisted on the active Tax Payer List of the Federal Board of Revenue. Consultants should have demonstrated experience in highway design review and construction supervision. Detailed eligibility criteria are specified in the Request for Proposal (RFP) documents. A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for 26 October 2026 at 1200 hours at the office of the Director (Coordination) Central Zone NHA in Lahore.
