For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT

Independent analysis by PakistanTender, written with AI from the official notice and checked by our quality rules — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.

This is a large-value framework procurement (PKR 527 million) spanning two financial years for specialized prosthetic and orthotic devices supplied to persons with disabilities.

The tender covers five device categories with varying price points (PKR 20,000 to PKR 2.4 million per unit). As a framework contract, successful bidders should expect ongoing supply obligations across FY 2026-27 and 2027-28. The corrigendum recently reduced maximum joint venture members from three to two, suggesting prior scope clarification. Bid security of PKR 10.54 million is substantial, indicating genuine buyer commitment. This is medical equipment procurement under government ADP funding—expect compliance scrutiny and quality standards typical of health/welfare sector contracts.

Who can bid: Bidders must be registered with relevant authorities (SECP for companies, or relevant business registration body) and with income tax and sales tax authorities in Pakistan. Typically, firms supplying medical devices must hold certifications or approvals from relevant health/medical regulatory bodies, though the notice does not explicitly state this. Joint ventures or consortia limited to two members maximum. Bidders must be capable of depositing bid security electronically via the prescribed banking system.
