Description / Scope of Work
The Federal Tax Ombudsman Secretariat in Islamabad, Federal Government invites sealed quotations for the repair, maintenance, and provision of advanced IT infrastructure and networking services. This comprehensive project includes the procurement of a 40 Mbps dedicated fiber backup internet connection, the installation of 500 meters of armored single-mode fiber for high-speed server room inter-connectivity, and the upgrading of server network interfaces with 10G SFP+ modules. The scope also encompasses significant civil works, such as the installation of a 42U server rack with vertical exhaust ducting, ultrasonic repellent devices, and secure metallic trunking to prevent interference. Additionally, the tender covers the renewal of a three-year Fortinet 60F Unified Threat Protection license and the provision of SSL certificates from renowned authorities for the CMIS web portal. Eligible firms must be on the FBR Active Taxpayers List, provide a 2% earnest money deposit, and offer a one-year warranty on all services. All bids must be submitted electronically through the EPADS system no later than 09:30 AM on 19 May 2026.
