For Bidders: Our Analysis PAKISTANTENDER INSIGHT
Independent analysis by PakistanTender — not part of the official notice. Always confirm details against the original tender document.
IIUI is procuring a complete managed Wi-Fi solution for new hostel buildings—likely involving access points, controllers, cabling, installation, and ongoing management services. This is a technology infrastructure contract for an educational institution. The procurement uses federal e-bidding on ePADS, suggesting moderate to substantial scope. Bidders should note the two-envelope method prioritizes cost after technical compliance is verified. Managed solutions typically include 2–5 years of support; confirm exact duration and coverage area in specifications before bidding.
Who can bid: Bidders must be registered on ePADS v2.0. Typically, IT goods suppliers require valid SECP registration (for private companies), active NTN with FBR, and relevant sales tax clearance. Manufacturers or authorized distributors of networking equipment are preferred. No specific PEC category applies; however, experience with similar hostel or campus Wi-Fi deployments is likely required. Confirm any vendor certification requirements from original equipment manufacturers in the detailed bid documents.
