Description / Scope of Work
The Local Government & Rural Development Department in Bagh, AJ&K invites bids for the construction and retrofitting of two bridges within District Bagh. This project, funded by the Government of AJ&K under the Construction Retrofitting of Bridges initiative, seeks interested and eligible contractors to submit proposals following a Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure. The estimated amount for the project is 48.248 million with a required bid security of 1.447 million in the form of a CDR, Pay Order, or Bank Draft. Eligible bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in category C6 or above with the specialized code CE-10 and must be active taxpayers. Technical proposals will be evaluated first, and only those meeting the qualification criteria will have their financial proposals opened at a later date. Bidders are required to submit an affidavit confirming they are not blacklisted. The deadline for the submission of bids is May 14, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with the opening scheduled for 11:30 AM on the same day.
