The Karachi Development Authority in Karachi, Sindh invites interested parties to an open public auction for the disposal of unserviceable machineries, heavy vehicles, and various scrap materials. The auction includes a diverse range of items located at the Pre-stressed Pipe Factory, Sohrab Goth Workshop, and the Asphalt Plant on the Super Highway. Specific items listed for auction include loading cranes, bulldozers such as D7 and D6 models, a Nokia Paver from Japan, motor graders, air compressors, and various trucks including 10-wheelers and Bed Ford models. Additionally, the inventory features containers, electric motors, mixed iron scrap, and a scraped bridge. Interested participants must submit a token money pay order of 100,000 rupees for general items or 500,000 rupees for scrap lots. Successful bidders are required to pay twenty-five percent of the bid cost at the fall of the hammer, with the remaining balance due within one month of confirmation. Inspection of the equipment is available from May 5 to May 7, 2026, during office hours. The public auction will officially take place from May 13 to May 14, 2026, starting at 10:00 AM at the Pre-Stressed Pipe Factory.
