The Universal Service Fund in Islamabad, Federal Government invites sealed bids for the Next Generation Optical Fiber Network and Services Projects for the fiscal year 2025-26. This procurement involves a competitive auction process for three distinct lots located in the districts of Gujranwala, Swabi, and Attock. The projects aim to expand optical fiber infrastructure and telecommunication services in accordance with the Pakistan Telecommunication Re-organization Act 1996. Eligible bidders must be licensed telecommunication operators in Pakistan and must provide proof of valid Income Tax and Sales Tax registration. To participate, interested firms must register by the specified deadlines for each lot, with the earliest registration closing on May 14, 2026, for the Gujranwala lot. Detailed information packages are available upon a non-refundable payment of 1,000 PKR per lot. A bid bond of two million PKR per lot is mandatory for all registered bidders. Technical and financial bids for the first lot must be submitted through the designated process by May 21, 2026, at 11:00 hours.
