Description / Scope of Work
General Headquarters Signals Directorate Rawalpindi invites sealed bids for repair and maintenance of Information Technology based services for the financial year 2026/27 on a Rawalpindi basis. The tender encompasses nine distinct service items including repair and maintenance of guy supported towers, FTTH solutions, IDU/ODU and rectifiers of NERA microwave radio equipment, Hipath exchanges at Rawalpindi and Islamabad, OTDR and splicing machines, Panasonic exchanges and operator consoles, SATCOMS equipment, VPN concentrators and SDES IP encryptors, UPS systems, and modification of microwave towers of all types. This procurement is open to original manufacturers, authorized distributors, and registered contractors with security clearance from reputable government departments including the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Defence Production, and Ministry of Information Technology.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments of Pakistan and possess government security clearance. Firms should demonstrate prior experience and registration with recognized government institutions. Interested contractors are required to submit sealed bids along with detailed technical brochures and samples. A non-refundable tender fee of Rs 2,500.00 (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred only) must be paid via bank draft in favour of General Headquarters Signals Directorate to obtain bidding documents.
Bidding documents containing comprehensive terms and conditions are available from the General Headquarters Signals Battalion Quarter Master Branch located on Adayala Road Rawalpindi on any working day. Sealed bids must be submitted by 1030 hours on the opening date of 31 July 2026 (Friday). Technical proposals will be opened at 1100 hours on the same date, with financial bids to be opened subsequently in the presence of bidder representatives.
