Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer Research Division, Karachi, under the Irrigation Department of the Government of Sindh, invites Request for Proposals (RFP) from reputable consulting firms for a comprehensive study. The project focuses on the assessment and design for the rehabilitation and improvement of the existing underground drainage schemes of SCARP and LBOD across Sindh. The scope involves detailed technical evaluations, diagnostic studies, and the preparation of design solutions to restore the efficiency of these critical drainage infrastructures. Eligible consultants must demonstrate experience in water management and drainage projects and be registered with relevant professional and tax bodies. The procurement follows a Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method. Interested firms can obtain the RFP documents from the office of the Executive Engineer in Karachi. All technical and financial proposals must be submitted by 11:00 AM on 22 May 2026, with the technical bids being opened at 11:30 AM on the same day in the presence of bidders' representatives.
