Description / Scope of Work
The Medical Superintendent of Gujranwala Teaching Hospital, Gujranwala, invites bids for the financial year 2026-27 for the bulk purchase of medicines, biologicals, and medical devices, including surgical and disposable items. This procurement is conducted through an open competitive bidding process via the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal, following the guidelines of the Health Department, Government of the Punjab. Manufacturers, sole agents, and sole importers with established technical and financial credentials are eligible to participate. The bidding process requires the submission of a comprehensive company profile and samples of all quoted items to the Central Pharmacy within seven working days of the technical bid opening. A 2% bid security of the estimated cost is required, and successful bidders must furnish a 5% performance guarantee. All electronic bids must be submitted through the EPADS system by 10:00 AM on 23 May 2026, with the public opening scheduled for 10:30 AM on the same day.
