Description / Scope of Work
The Wheat Research Institute at the Ayub Agricultural Research Institute (AARI) in Faisalabad, Punjab invites sealed tenders for the procurement of various laboratory and field equipment for the fiscal year 2025-26. The scope of work includes the purchase of high-precision scientific instruments such as a seed counter, digital balance, and a moisture meter, alongside essential field machinery like a mini plot thresher and a specialized boom sprayer for tractors. This tender is conducted on a single-stage, two-envelope basis, requiring separate technical and financial proposals. Eligible bidders must be active taxpayers registered with the FBR and include a two percent bid security of the estimated cost for each specific item. The procurement is governed by the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, and all items must be delivered on a FOR basis to the Wheat Research Institute. Interested firms can obtain detailed bidding documents from the office of the Director of the Wheat Research Institute upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 500 Rupees. Technical and financial bids must be submitted by 11:00 AM on 22 May 2026, with technical bids being opened at 11:30 AM the same day.
