Description / Scope of Work
The District Officer Social Welfare, Special Education & Women Empowerment Department in Karak, KPK invites sealed tenders for the procurement of various productive assets aimed at supporting impoverished individuals through the Kohat Division Development Project. This significant procurement initiative is divided into eleven distinct lots, covering a wide range of equipment including printing and composing tools, steel fabrication machinery, barber shop essentials, rural grocery shop stock, stitching units, and tri-motorcycles. Additionally, the tender seeks suppliers for motorcycle mechanic workshops, solar installer toolkits, beauty parlor equipment, and oil extraction machines. Bidding is conducted through the E-PAK Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) in accordance with KPPRA Rules 2014. Eligible firms must be registered with relevant Income Tax and Sales Tax departments and appear on the Active Taxpayers List. A bid security of 2% of the total estimated cost for each lot must be submitted in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR). Interested bidders must submit their electronic proposals via the EPADS portal by 11:00 AM on 01 June 2026, with the public opening scheduled for 11:30 AM the same day at the District Officer's office in Karak.
