Description / Scope of Work
The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) has issued a Specific Procurement Notice for the 'Electricity Distribution Efficiency Improvement Project (EDEIP)', funded by the World Bank. The contract involves the design, supply, and installation of reconductoring with High-Temperature Low-Sag (HTLS) conductors for the 132kV transmission lines between Jamshoro, Qasimabad, Hala Road, and Rajputana. This National Competitive Bidding process is open to all eligible bidders defined by World Bank procurement regulations. Bidding documents are available for download from the HESCO website or can be purchased via written application. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 21 May 2026 to address technical queries. Sealed bids, accompanied by a bid security of PKR 26,000,000, must be delivered to the Chief Engineer (Development) PMU in Hyderabad by 11:00 AM on 10 June 2026.
