Description / Scope of Work
The Directorate General of Archaeology in Bahawalpur, Punjab invites sealed e-bids for the restoration of walkways and landscaping in front of the Civil Building at the historic Derawar Fort. This conservation project, with an estimated cost of 12.575 million Rupees, requires specialized work including the restoration of brickwork, turfing of lawns with Dacca grass, and the supply of decorative planters and vases. Interested firms must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-6 or above with a field of specialization in BC-02 (Restoration & Conservation). The procurement follows a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure. Bidders are required to submit a bid security of 5% of the estimated cost. Complete electronic bids must be submitted through the e-PADS portal. The project is expected to be completed by 30 June 2026, which also serves as the final timeline for the execution of the mentioned conservation activities at this heritage site.
