Description / Scope of Work
District Council Chiniot, under the Local Government & Community Development Department of Punjab, invites electronic bids for the execution of various civil works projects. The procurement is conducted through the e-PADS portal in compliance with the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. Bidding follows a single-stage procedure, where interested contractors must be enlisted with the relevant departments and hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration for the current financial year. Bidders are required to submit their rates in figures and words, and in cases where the bid amount is significantly lower than the estimate, a quality assurance security may be required. Detailed specifications for materials, including reinforcing steel and national tiles, are outlined to ensure high-quality construction standards. E-bids must be submitted through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (e-PADS) by 12:00 PM on 25 May 2026, with the opening scheduled shortly thereafter.
