Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in Karachi, Sindh invites sealed tenders from reputable manufacturers, authorized distributors, and experienced suppliers for the procurement of spare parts for ground handling equipment. This critical tender aims to ensure the operational readiness of PIA's ground fleet at various airports. Interested bidders must be registered with the relevant tax authorities and must be listed on the Active Taxpayers List. The procurement will be conducted following a single-stage, two-envelope bidding procedure to evaluate technical compliance and financial competitiveness separately. Comprehensive bidding documents, including the full list of required components, technical specifications, and general terms and conditions, can be obtained from the PIA Procurement and Logistics Department at Jinnah International Airport. All bids must be accompanied by the required bid security and submitted in sealed envelopes no later than 10:30 AM on 27 May 2026. Technical proposals will be opened at 11:00 AM on the same day in the presence of authorized representatives to ensure a fair and transparent selection process.
