Description / Scope of Work
The Karachi Water & Sewerage Board (KW&SB), through the Project Implementation Unit of the Karachi Water & Sewerage Services Improvement Project (KWSSIP), has issued a pre-qualification notice for contractors. This significant infrastructure project involves the rehabilitation of the sewerage network in two major areas: Malir Town under Package 1 and Korangi Town under Package 2. Funded by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), the procurement follows World Bank Regulations. The project aims to enhance urban sanitation and water management services within Karachi. Interested national and international firms must submit their pre-qualification applications physically to the Project Director’s office in Karsaz by June 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Applications will be opened shortly after at 11:30 AM on the same day. This initiative is a critical component of Sindh’s urban development strategy to improve public health and local infrastructure.
