Description / Scope of Work
The Export Processing Zones Authority in Karachi, Sindh invites sealed bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System for the providing and installation of fire hydrants within the Karachi Export Processing Zone water supply network. The project scope includes the procurement, fixing, jointing, and testing of new fire hydrant valves, specifically 2.5 inch diameter single outlet and 3 inch diameter flanged inlet types, consistent with high-quality industrial standards such as SFFECO or NAFFCO. Eligible contractors must be registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments, the Sindh Revenue Board, and hold a valid license from the Pakistan Engineering Council for the year 2025-2026. Applicants are expected to demonstrate vast experience in executing water network and fire safety infrastructure projects. The procurement process follows the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority rules to ensure competitive bidding. Detailed Bills of Quantities and technical specifications are provided in the bidding documents available on the EPADS portal. All technical and financial proposals must be submitted electronically by the specified deadline of 11:00 AM on 21 May 2026.
