Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan Industrial Technical Assistance Centre (PITAC), under the Ministry of Industries & Production, invites sealed bids for the hiring of security services for its Regional Centre in Gilgit Baltistan. The scope of work requires the provision of two armed security guards, specifically ex-army personnel, equipped with licensed 12-bore shotguns to operate on an 8-hour shift basis. Responsibilities include ensuring thorough access control, screening personnel and vehicles using handheld metal detectors, and providing quick response backup during emergencies. Eligible security firms must be registered with the relevant home departments and tax authorities, maintaining an active status. The procurement follows the National Competitive Bidding Procedure under PPRA Rule 36(a) (Single Stage - Single Envelope). Bidders are required to submit a non-refundable tender participation fee of 2,000 Rupees. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the federal PPRA EPADS web portal. The successful bidder will be responsible for providing weekly and monthly security reports and must adhere to high standards of discipline and anti-terrorism training. The deadline for electronic bid submission is 11:00 AM on 01 June 2026.
