Managing Director Pakistan Railway Carriage Factory in Islamabad invites sealed bids for the repair and maintenance of service units and other infrastructure at Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The project includes special repairs to the roof of the Service Building (Forge Shop) at the Carriage Factory in Islamabad and washroom repairs at Residential Building Bungalow No. 4/A in the Carriage Factory Colony, Rawalpindi. This procurement is based on the Composite Schedule of Rates 2016 (Rawalpindi Division) and follows a single-stage, single-envelope procedure under PPRA Rules. Eligible contractors must be approved by Pakistan Railways or other government departments, registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with relevant specialization codes for civil works, and maintain active status on the FBR's Active Taxpayers List. Bids must be submitted electronically via the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) with a bid security of five percent of the estimated cost. The completion period for the Forge Shop roof is three months, while the residential washroom repair is to be completed within one month. The deadline for electronic bid submission is 11:30 AM on 20 May 2026.
