Description / Scope of Work
Heavy Industries Taxila, operating through its Supply Chain Management Directorate, invites sealed tenders from reputed firms possessing NTN certificates for the procurement of daily LP of emergent medicines and disposable items for HIT Hospital located in Taxila Cantt, Punjab. This is a single stage two envelope national competitive bidding procurement on a rebate percentage basis. The quantity and specific items of medicines required will be communicated by the hospital through an issuance letter, and delivery shall commence upon hospital notification. The tender reference number is IT-6901 dated 18 May 2026. Procurement will be carried out in accordance with PPRA rules and regulations governing pharmaceutical procurement in Pakistan.
Bidders must be registered with relevant government authorities and possess valid NTN certificates. Required eligibility documents include a photocopy of HIT registration or pre-qualification letter, attested copies of sales tax registration and NTN certificates, audit reports for the last three financial years, attested bank statements for one year, and an attested copy of the MD's CNIC. Distributors and agents must provide trade links with the original equipment manufacturer. Additionally, bidders must submit a certificate on judicial paper worth Rs 200 attested by an oath commissioner confirming they are neither defaulters nor blacklisted by any government organization. A postal order of Rs 2,000 in favour of the Commanding Officer HIT Hospital must accompany the technical bid, and bidders should provide details of contracts and work experience with government or semi-government organizations from the last three financial years.
