Description / Scope of Work
The Municipal Corporation, Dera Ghazi Khan invites sealed bids for repair and rehabilitation of Tuff tile flooring and provision of sub base, sand, and plain cement concrete at Muharrum-ul-Haram routes under the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporation, Dera Ghazi Khan in Punjab. The tender is referenced as 1st BI Annual 2026 for the district of D.G. Khan. The approximate contract cost is Rs. 1,000 Million with an earnest money deposit of Rs. 50,000. The scope of work includes pacca brick work in foundation and plinth using cement sand mortar, pacca brick work on edges with reinforcement in cement sand mortar, provision and laying of sub-base course of approved stone product with spreading and compaction to required depth, dismantling of existing Tuff tile and dry brick masonry, and providing and laying of new Tuff pavers with 7000 PSI crushing strength in specified dimensions with proper jointing and finishing. The project must be completed within 15 days.
Contractors must possess valid licenses and registrations as per Pakistan Engineering Council requirements and submit all bid documents including manufacturer confirmations with traceability codes. Bid security and earnest money deposit are mandatory requirements. All work must strictly follow PWD specifications, ASTM/BSS approved designs and drawings, and contract agreement provisions. A full-time Graduate Engineer must be employed by the contractor within one month of work commencement for supervision and quality control. The contractor bears responsibility for all site mishaps during execution.
Bid documents can be obtained from the Municipal Corporation office at Dera Ghazi Khan. Sealed bids must be submitted at the specified office location on or before the closing date of June 4, 2026. All procurement processes shall follow the 1962 BSR code and requisite government directions. Black-listed contractors cannot participate. The Senior Sub Engineer of Municipal Corporation Dera Ghazi Khan and the Municipal Officer (I) shall oversee technical evaluation and final approval.
