Military Engineer Services (Army) Gujranwala Cantt invites sealed tenders from contractors and firms for pre-qualification and issuance of tender documents under a single-stage two-envelope procurement process against five distinct works totaling approximately Rs 42.7 million in Punjab. The works include upgradation of external water supply pipeline at D-1 and D-2 areas (Rs 9.5 million), repair and maintenance of old vintage transformers (Rs 6.82 million), repair, maintenance, dehydration and oil leveling of transformers of different capacity (Rs 8.68 million), roof treatment and repair of window shades with HVAC system and generator maintenance at LY-80 Building 509 EBW (Rs 7.7 million), and miscellaneous repair and maintenance works (Rs 10 million). All works are located at Gujranwala Cantt and follow PPRA Rules 13(I) of 2004.
Eligibility criteria mandate that all contractors must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and submit a copy of their registration certificate; contractors not registered with PEC are ineligible to apply. Applicants must provide certificates confirming they are not involved in litigation with any government department in any court of law and that no special report from the Directorate of Inspection and Evaluation (E-in-C's Branch GHQ) is outstanding against them. Firms and contractors enlisted with MES in Categories A, B, C, D, or E and possessing relevant experience in similar works are encouraged to apply. Contractors not enlisted with MES must deposit 2% of the contract value as security in the form demanded by the accepting officer if they are the most advantageous bidder. The accepting officer reserves the right to accept or reject any tender in accordance with PPRA rules.
Applications for tender documents must be submitted to CMES (Army) Gujranwala Cantt before 28 May 2026, along with complete credentials and experience details of works executed during the last two years. Tender documents will only be issued to pre-qualified firms demonstrating sufficient experience in the relevant field and satisfying special conditions required for the job and area. Sealed tenders must be received in the office of the accepting officer by 08 June 2026 at 1130 hours and will be opened at 1200 hours on the same day.
