Description / Scope of Work
The Public Health Engineering Division, Chakwal invites sealed bids from registered contractors and firms for the execution of approved works under the MRS 1st Bi Annual 2026 scheme from 1st January 2026 to 30th June 2026 in District Chakwal. The tendering process is conducted through EPADS with amount calculated against each item on approved DNIT rates. This is a single stage single envelope tender process open to registered contractors and firms with valid Pakistan Engineering Council licenses of category CE-09 and CE-10 for the financial year 2025-26.
Eligible bidders must possess valid registration with Pakistan Engineering Council in the specified categories and must be registered on the Punjab PPRA website at www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk. Bidders are required to submit earnest money in the form of CDR at 5% of estimated cost in favor of the Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering Division, Chakwal. The earnest money must be submitted to the tender opening committee before the bid closing time. In cases where the total tender amount is equal to or less than 5% of the approved estimated amount, the lowest bidder shall deposit Quality Assurance Security from scheduled banks equal to the difference between approved DNIT amount and quoted bid amount within 15 days of issuance of notice or within bid expiry period, whichever is earlier.
Bids must be submitted through EPADS up to 02:00 PM on 8th June 2026, with opening scheduled for the same day at 02:30 PM in the office of the Executive Engineer, Public Health Engineering Division, Chakwal. Bid rates must be quoted item-wise and incomplete bids will not be entertained. All papers must be signed and stamped by firm owners. Bidders should note that no amendments or cuts are permitted in quoted bids through electronic systems, and no telephonic or conditional tenders without earnest money will be accepted.
