Description / Scope of Work
The Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC), a statutory corporation established under ordinance XX of 1979, invites sealed bids from eligible contractors for the repair, renovation and refurbishment of multiple facilities at Pakistan Marine Academy in Sindh. The scope of work encompasses the Admin Block, Medical Centre, Parade Ground, Sports Complex, Swimming Pool and Examination Hall, with funds reserved for FY 2025-26. This is a significant civil works procurement project intended to restore and upgrade critical infrastructure at the Academy to enhance operational functionality and safety standards across all designated areas and facilities.
All interested bidders must be registered on the e-Procurement Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 and possess relevant licenses and qualifications as specified in the bidding documents. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a Pay Order or Bank Guarantee as detailed in the Bid Security Section of the bidding documents. Single Stage-Two Envelope procurement methodology employing Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) Technique will be adopted in accordance with Public Procurement Rules 2004 and applicable regulatory guidelines issued by the Authority.
Detailed bidding documents containing complete specifications, terms, conditions and technical requirements are available on EPADS v2.0 at https://vendors.epads.gov.pk/ for all registered bidders. E-bids must be submitted through EPADS v2.0 on or before Monday, June 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM. Manual bid submissions will not be entertained.
