Description / Scope of Work
District Council Gujrat is inviting sealed electronic bids through EPADS (Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority) for the execution of nine rehabilitation, reconstruction and maintenance projects under the M&R Head for the financial year 2025-2026. The projects include rehabilitation and reconstruction of Nullah village Mandahar, maintenance of PCC in Syed Tasneem Iftikhar Advocate Modal Town, rehabilitation and repairing of streets and drains in villages Hajji Pura, Kalerill, Gujrat, and Gujyala, reconstruction of Nullah and laying PCC street with Maryam Nawaz Ladies and Children Park Tanda, reconstruction of street Fazil wall near Bhimber road, and reconstruction of streets and drains in village Chohan Kalan. The total estimated cost of these projects ranges from 2.00 to 10.58 million rupees with bid security requirements ranging from 1.00 to 5.29 million rupees at 5 percent of estimated cost.
Eligible bidders must be well-reputed, financially sound firms, contractors or companies registered with EPADS and relevant tax departments including Income Tax, Sales Tax, PRA and Professional Tax where applicable. Bidders must possess valid PEC license in relevant category codes and provide fresh affidavits confirming they are neither blacklisted in PPRA nor currently under litigation. Performance security equivalent to 5% to 10% of the estimated cost must be deposited within fifteen days of award of work from a scheduled bank, with additional performance security as specified in case of equal lowest bids.
Bidding documents can be downloaded from the PPRA website at http://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ActiveTenders.aspx and EPADS portal at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk before the closing date. The submission of CDR in original is due by 09 June 2026 at 11:00 AM, electronic bids must be submitted by the same date at 09:00 AM, and opening of e-bids will occur on 09 June 2026 at 11:30 AM. All bidders must quote on a whole package basis including all items and lots as per PPRA Rules 2014 under Single Stage Single Envelope procedure. Bid security should be in favor of the Chief Officer, District Council Gujrat.
