Description / Scope of Work
The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) invites sealed bids through the Sindh E Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) under a single-stage, one-envelope procedure for eight supply and work contracts related to improvements and facilities at Karachi Zoo and Safari Park in Karachi, Sindh. The schemes include up-lifting and allied works for Landhi Korangi Zoo, solar system and electrical work installation, uplifting of animal cages, water filtration system installation, road improvements in the safari area, and main boating lake beautification. The estimated total project value ranges from approximately 19.986 million to 20 million Pakistani rupees per scheme, with total tender value exceeding 160 million rupees. These are time-bound ADP development schemes funded by the Government of Sindh with a utilization deadline of June 30, 2026.
Bidders must be reputable firms with relevant experience in similar nature and duly registered with applicable authorities. Each tender requires a bid security of five percent of the estimated cost in the form of a pay order or bank guarantee issued by a scheduled Pakistani bank, valid for at least six months, in favor of KMC. The bidding document fee is non-refundable at Rs. 5,000 per tender. A mandatory undertaking in the form of a bank guarantee of Rs. 10 million is required from the successful bidder upon acceptance. Bidders must submit an affidavit on E-Stamp Paper of Rs. 500 confirming adequate financial and technical resources and timely work completion capacity.
Interested bidders may download bidding documents from the EPADS portal at https://sindh.eprocure.gov.pk. Completed bidding documents must be submitted online through EPADS by 03:00 p.m. on June 3, 2026, with bids opening at 03:30 p.m. on the same day at KMC's Contract Management Wing office, Room No. 19, 2nd Floor, M.A. Jinnah Road. Original bidding document fees must be submitted as pay orders to KMC's Finance and Accounts Department. If no bids are received or all bids are non-responsive, bids shall be re-opened on June 18, 2026 at 03:30 p.m. KMC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning reasons.
