Description / Scope of Work
Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology (KFUEIT) in Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab, invites sealed bids for the procurement of machinery and equipment under Tender No. Misc-354. The procurement comprises four separate lots with an aggregate estimated cost of PKR 8,880,000. Lot 1 covers a CNC Lathe machine valued at PKR 4,200,000; Lot 2 includes a Lathe Machine and 3D Printer worth PKR 2,300,000; Lot 3 encompasses Vices, Smithy shop equipment, Workshop tables, and Muffle/Box Furnace totalling PKR 1,805,000; and Lot 4 comprises a Thermal Imaging Camera and Solar Power Meter valued at PKR 575,000. The procurement follows a Single Stage Two Envelope procedure in compliance with PPRA Rules 2014 (as amended) and the instructions of KFUEIT, RYK.
Eligible bidders must be reputed firms registered on the PPRA portal. Each bidder is required to submit a refundable bid security equivalent to 5% of the lot value in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) issued in the name of KFUEIT, RYK. The CDR must be uploaded to E-PADS in compliance with Rule 27 of PPRA Rules 2014 (as amended) for the financial year 2025-2026, with only CDRs issued after the tender advertisement being accepted. The original CDR must be physically submitted by an authorized representative before the closing time, and failure to do so will result in bid rejection. Tender validity is until 31st August 2026, and all applicable taxes will be charged as per rules.
Bidding documents and detailed specifications are available on the PPRA website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk and the E-PADS portal at http://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk following free registration. Bids must be submitted exclusively through E-PADS before 10:00 AM on 08-06-2026. Tender opening will occur at 10:30 AM on the same date in the presence of contesting contractors or their representatives, with bids submitted after the prescribed deadline not being entertained. The Purchase Committee of KFUEIT, RYK shall make final decisions regarding tender proceeding or cancellation.
