Description / Scope of Work
Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) invites sealed electronic bids for the construction of a boundary wall, security guard rooms, provision and fixing of solar lights, and related infrastructure at a 132KV grid station in Quetta, Balochistan. The estimated project cost is Rs. 30,302,068.59. This procurement is conducted through the E-PACS (E-bids through e-PAC Acquisition and Disposal System) on the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) platform, with bids required from firms registered on E-PACS and holding valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) licenses in category C-3 or equivalent. The project falls under the Active Tax Payer List of the Federal Board of Revenue.
Prospective bidders must be registered on E-PACS and possess valid PEC licenses (2025–2026) in the relevant specialization code CE-10. Bid security in the form of a bank guarantee from a scheduled bank, valid for 150 days, must be submitted electronically with each tender application. Bids must be accompanied by all mandatory documents clearly marked with the tender number. Bidders who have pending work with QESCO Directorate for more than two years are ineligible. The contractor is solely responsible for the security and safety of personnel and staff on site and during work execution; all related costs are borne by the contractor.
Standard bidding documents containing detailed terms, conditions, specifications, and submission procedures are available free of cost from registered bidders on E-PACS. Bids will be opened publicly in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the office of the Project Director (GSC) QESCO on 09 June 2026 at 1000 hours.
