Construction and Renovation Works for Religious and Community Facilities in Sialkot

Pakistan Engineering Council Islamabad invites sealed bids under Single Stage Two Envelopes (SSTE) procedure for procurement of four construction and renovation works packages located in Sialkot, Punjab. The projects include construction of boundary wall, gate, prayer room, water pump and veranda for dead body cremation at village Rattiyan Sayedian (estimated cost Rs 3,326,647), renovation and provision of missing facilities in Christian Community Graveyard Sialkot (Rs 2,836,892), construction of boundary wall with safety wire and main gate with rooms in Community Center of Swover Sahib Gurdwara Babe De Bair Sahib (Rs 13,499,342), and construction of boundary wall with safety wire and missing facilities in Christian Community Graveyard (Rs 1,166,632). Total combined estimated cost is approximately Rs 20.83 million with all works having a ten-month execution period.

Bidders must possess Category C6 or above registration as per Pakistan Engineering Council standards. Earnest money at two percent of estimated cost is required for each package, ranging from Rs 23,332 to Rs 269,987. Bids must include all mandatory documentation, technical qualifications, and financial capacity evidence as specified in the bidding documents. The contractor must demonstrate experience with similar civil works and possess valid PEC registration.

Bidding documents are available as per the standard form issued by Pakistan Engineering Council. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes before the closing date of June 11, 2007. Bid opening will be conducted on the same date following the SSTE procedure where technical envelopes are opened first followed by financial envelopes of technically qualified bidders. All bidders should obtain detailed specifications, drawings, and conditions of contract from the procuring authority or as specified in the instructions to bidders section of this tender document.
