Benazir Bhutto Hospital Rawalpindi invites electronic bids from well-reputed medicines firms and pharmacies for the supply of Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal funded medicines, surgical, orthopedic and disposable items for the financial year 2026-27. This framework contract covers day-to-day purchase requirements of essential medical supplies with an estimated cost of Rs. 5,000,000. The procurement will be conducted through e-tendering via the Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) system and the e-Punjab Acquisitions and Disposal System. Bidders must be registered on the E-PADs portal with a valid Pharmacy Drug Sale License and must be on the Active Taxpayers List with a valid National Tax Number certificate.
Eligible bidders must demonstrate a minimum of one year's experience in supplying medicines and surgical items to government or autonomous institutions. The bid security requirement is Rs. 100,000 in the form of a call deposit receipt, bank guarantee, or pay order made payable to the Medical Superintendent of Benazir Bhutto Hospital Rawalpindi and submitted with the technical offer. Bidders must provide a detailed company profile, price reasonable certificate, bank statements, latest tax returns, audit reports, and an affidavit confirming the supply will be made at rates not exceeding retail prices and that the firm is not blacklisted.
Bidding documents are available for free download from the PPRA website at eprocure.gov.pk and through the e-Punjab Acquisitions and Disposal System. The tender will follow a single-stage two-envelope bidding procedure as per PPRA rules. Bids must be submitted electronically on the e-Punjab portal by 16-06-2026 at 10:30 a.m., with physical bid security documents submitted at the hospital address before the closing time. Technical bid opening will occur on the same day at 11:00 a.m. through e-PADS. All assessments and award determinations will be governed by the Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 and the e-Punjab Acquisitions and Disposal System.
