Construction of Water Structure and Embankments at Jaldi Khan by Balochistan Water Security Project

The Balochistan Water Security and Productivity Improvement Project (BWSPIP) invites sealed competitive bids from eligible contractors for construction works related to flood management of Kachh Plains. The project seeks to construct water structures and embankments at Jaldi Khan on River Nai in Kachh District, Balochistan Province. The scope of work includes construction of food dispersal channels, drop structures, regulators, food embankments, earthen channel side protection, stone pitching, staff huts and associated works. The estimated contract value is approximately PKR 20 million with a project completion timeline of 30 months. This tender is advertised under the World Bank Credit Number IDA 7780-PAK and aims to develop sustainable water security and productivity improvement initiatives in the province.

Bidders must be registered with Pakistan's relevant construction authorities and possess valid licenses for undertaking similar magnitude projects. Bidders engaged in corrupt or fraudulent practices will be declared ineligible and may be debarred from future contracts with the World Bank. A bid security of 90 days is required after bid opening and must be accompanied by a security of PKR 20 million. All bidders are required to submit comprehensive qualification information and documentation to establish their capacity to execute the proposed works within the specified timeline.

Bid documents may be obtained from the Office of the Project Director, Balochistan Water Security and Productivity Improvement Project (Component-A), 117/41-A1 Jinnah Town Samungali Road Quetta on payment of a non-refundable fee of PKR 1,000 per contract. A pre-bid conference will be held at the same office on 2nd June 2026. Sealed bids must be submitted on or before 11:30 AM on 16th June 2026 at the specified office address.
