Description / Scope of Work
The Engineering Directorate of the Auqaf & Religious Affairs Department, Government of the Punjab invites electronic tenders under Single Stage One Envelope bidding procedure for the up-gradation of an existing library to a historic museum at the Shrine Complex of Hazrat Waris Shah (R.A) located in Jandayala Sher Khan, Sheikhupura. The estimated cost of this project is Rs. 12,23,166 with an earnest money requirement of Rs. 24,463. The scope of work encompasses renovation and conversion of the existing library structure into a modern museum facility suitable for displaying and preserving religious and historical artifacts. This project falls under the jurisdiction of the Auqaf department and is intended to enhance the religious and cultural significance of the shrine complex for pilgrims and visitors.
Eligible bidders must be licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category with specialized codes valid up to 30 June 2026, and must be registered with relevant tax authorities including Income Tax, Sales Tax, and PRA Tax with current year Professional Tax certificates submitted. Bidders are required to submit an affidavit confirming that all documents are genuine and not forged, and must certify that they are not blacklisted by Punjab Auqaf Organization or PPRA. Bid security in the amount of 2 percent of the estimated cost must accompany all submissions in the form of bank draft or CDR drawn in favour of the Director Projects Auqaf.
Bidding documents are available on the E-PADS website of PPRA for immediate download following publication of this notice. Interested bidders must submit their bids online through the E-PADS portal at https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk on or before 1:00 PM on 3 June 2026, with bid opening scheduled for 2:00 PM the same day in the presence of bidder representatives at the office of the Auqaf & Religious Affairs Department, 3rd Floor Aiwan-e-Auqaf, Near Lahore High Court, Lahore. The procurement agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with PPRA Rules 2014.
