Description / Scope of Work
The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF), Constituent College Depalpur in Okara, Punjab is conducting an open auction of farm produce on an as-is basis. The auction includes two lots: Sarsoon (mustard seed) estimated at 119 maunds and Cotton estimated at 16 maunds. The auction will be held on 15 June 2026 at 11:30 am at the Depalpur campus. Interested bidders must pay a refundable security deposit of Rs. 15,000 for participating in the auction. The sale is subject to advance tax collection at the rate of 10% for Active Tax Filers and 20% for Non-Filers, calculated on the estimated sale value of produce. Additionally, one-third of the final bid amount will be collected from the highest bidder on the spot, with the remaining balance payable before taking possession of the farm produce.
All prospective bidders are required to bring copies of their National Identity Cards and the security deposit amount before the auction commences. The competent authority reserves the absolute right to accept or reject any or all bids without providing reasons or justification. Detailed terms, conditions, and additional information concerning the auction procedures are available from the office of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Depalpur. In the event the auction is cancelled for any unforeseen reason, it will be rescheduled and held on the next Monday until successful bidding is completed.
Bidders should contact the Director's office at the college for complete auction documents and clarification on bid submission procedures. The auction is open to all interested persons meeting the eligibility criteria. Participation requires compliance with all government regulations and instructions issued by UAF authorities.
