Description / Scope of Work
The Executive Engineer, 8th Buildings Division Lahore, under the Communication and Works Department of Punjab Building Department (Central Zone), invites sealed item-rate tenders for the addition, alteration and improvement of Residence No. B-76 located in GOR-III (Shadman), Lahore. The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 30,00,000 with a completion period of 30 days. This renovation work is being tendered to enhance and modernize the official residence through strategic additions and structural improvements in one of Lahore's prominent administrative areas.
Prospective bidders must be contractors or firms currently enlisted or renewed with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the relevant category in the current financial year. Eligible bidders are required to submit earnest money in the form of a CDR, bank draft, or cashier's cheque equal to 5% of the estimated cost (Rs. 150,000) to the office of the Executive Engineer, 8th Buildings Division, Lahore before the bid submission deadline. Conditional tenders and bids not accompanied by the required earnest money security will be rejected outright.
Complete electronic bids must be submitted online through the e-Procurement System (EPADS) at https://punjab.eprocure.gov.pk on or before 08 June 2026 at 10:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled for the same date at 10:30 AM. The original bid security instrument must be physically submitted in an appropriately marked envelope at the office of the Executive Engineer before the e-bid submission deadline.
