Description / Scope of Work
The Highway Division Sargodha invites sealed bids for two maintenance and repair projects in District Sargodha, Punjab. The first scheme involves maintenance and repair of painting traffic lane marking on the Civil Hospital to Jhang More section of Sargodha Khushab Road, with an approximate contract value of Rs 1.055 million and earnest money of Rs 0.053 million. The second project concerns improvement of berms work on Shahpur Bhera Malikwal Road across different sections, valued at approximately Rs 1.213 million with earnest money of Rs 0.061 million. Both projects must be completed within one month from the date of award. The work specifications include thermoplastic paint application with glass beads for traffic lane marking at 1.5mm thickness and 5 inches wide, as well as provision and stacking of graded stone and crushed stone aggregate for berms improvement.
Eligible bidders must be registered contractors with the relevant authorities and possess valid licenses to execute road works. Bidders are required to submit earnest money deposits as specified in each bid schedule. All work must be executed strictly according to the technically sanctioned estimates and scope of work as detailed in the specifications. Quantities mentioned in the bid schedule are estimated figures used for tender comparison purposes and the Engineer does not guarantee that actual work quantities will correspond exactly to these estimates.
Bid documents can be obtained from the Executive Engineer, Highway Division, Sargodha, with sealed bids to be submitted as per the schedule mentioned in technical sanction documents. The bid opening will be conducted in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
