Description / Scope of Work
The National Bank of Pakistan invites sealed bids for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a new passenger lift to replace the existing passenger lift installed at NBP Kehkashan Building in Karachi, Sindh. This tender follows PPRA Rule 36(b) using a single stage two envelope procedure, with bidding and contract documents divided into Volume I (Technical Bid) and Volume II (Financial Bid). The project encompasses civil construction work, supply of a complete new lift system with car frame and platform, car body work, finishing, mechanical and electrical installations, and provision of technical support services during the defect liability period. The scope includes comprehensive installation, testing, and commissioning to ensure the lift meets all applicable codes and standards.
Bidders must be from eligible countries as specified in the tender documents and shall demonstrate technical capability and financial soundness. Bid security is required as per the bid data sheet specifications. Prospective bidders should hold relevant licenses and certifications for lift installation and maintenance work. All bids must comply with the technical specifications and evaluation criteria outlined in the tender documents, which include detailed requirements for materials, workmanship, packing, handling and storage.
Bid documents are available through PPRA's EPADS Portal and must be submitted electronically before the closing date of 16 June 2026. The bidding process requires submission of sealed envelopes containing technical and financial bids separately. Bid opening will follow the prescribed procedure, and evaluation will be conducted according to the published evaluation criteria. Interested bidders should obtain complete documentation from the EPADS Portal and direct queries to the National Bank of Pakistan's procurement department. All submissions must include necessary supporting documents and bid security instruments as specified in the tender requirements.
