Description / Scope of Work
The Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) on behalf of the Government of Punjab is inviting sealed bids for the supply of 56-inch electric ceiling fans with copper winding, 3-star energy efficiency rating, complete with three blades, dimmer, regulator, hand shackle and canopy with one foot down rod suitable for use in single phase AC with frequency for 50/60 Hz at 200/250 volts as per clause 2.4 of PS-I/1991 (revised of PSI). The estimated cost is Rs. 14,800 M with bid security of Rs. 0.296 M. The quantity required is 1480 numbers to be delivered by June 30, 2026. The delivery location is Rawalpindi, Punjab. This procurement is for the Building Division No.1 Rawalpindi under the jurisdiction of the Superintending Engineer, Building Circle No.1 Rawalpindi. Carriage to Rawalpindi, loading and unloading costs are included in the contract scope.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to meet the general qualification standards as per PS-I/1991 (revised version). Bidders must submit bid security amounting to Rs. 0.296 M as earnest money with their proposals. Contractors must be registered and authorized suppliers capable of supplying electrical appliances in bulk quantities. All bids must comply with the specified technical requirements regarding fan specifications and energy efficiency standards.
Bid documents are available on the PPRA website. Sealed proposals must be submitted to the office of the Executive Engineer, Building Division No.1, Rawalpindi, Metarabad Main Peshawar Road, Rawalpindi by the closing date. Bids will be opened on the same date unless declared a public holiday.
