Prequalification as LPDD Vendors for Medicines and Medical Devices Supply

Pak-Italian Burn Centre, Nishtar Medical University, Multan invites sealed bids and tenders from eligible pharmacies for prequalification and registration as LPDD (Local Purchase Day to Day) vendors for the supply of national, multinational, and imported medicines, medical devices, and surgical disposable items on a day-to-day basis during the financial year 2026-27, valid until September 30, 2027. The procurement encompasses drugs and medicines manufactured by national and multinational firms, medical devices, surgical disposable items, and implants to be supplied on free delivery basis to the hospital located in Multan, Punjab.

Eligible bidders must hold a valid Drug Sale License on Form 9 issued by the competent authority and demonstrate a minimum of one year's experience in the sale of drugs, medicines, medical devices, and surgical disposable items. The pharmacy location must be situated within a 10 kilometre radius of the hospital, though the Executive Director may jointly request relaxation to a maximum of 20 kilometres with proper justification to the SHC&MED Department. Bidders are required to submit only technical bids for registration and must offer minimum discounts of 6 percent on multinational medicines, 10 percent on national medicines, and 15 percent on medical devices and surgical disposable items as specified in the bidding documents.

Firms must be registered with PPRA for e-procurement on the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System. The tender notice specifies separate submission deadlines and opening dates for different categories of items, with bid security amounting to 2 percent of the estimated value of quoted items for most categories. All bids must be submitted through e-PADS in accordance with Punjab Procurement Rules 2014, and the procuring agency reserves the right to reject any bid or proposal at any time.
