Description / Scope of Work
The Highway Division, Sargodha invites sealed bids for two maintenance and repair projects in District Sargodha, Punjab. The first project concerns construction and repair of a drain in front of Lahore Motorway Interchange with an approximate contract value of Rs 1.288 million and earnest money of Rs 0.064 million. The second project involves improvement of berms work with soling on various roads with an approximate contract value of Rs 1.291 million and earnest money of Rs 0.065 million. Both projects are to be completed within one month. The drain project includes earthwork excavation up to 1.5 meters depth, brick work in foundation and plinth, cement plaster, plain and reinforced cement concrete works, and mild steel reinforcement. The berms project comprises provision and laying of dry brick pavement with soling in streets and roads including bed preparation, watering and compaction. Work locations include areas in District Sargodha along the Lahore Motorway and various road networks throughout the district.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered contractors with relevant experience in road and drain construction works. Contractors must possess valid certificates of registration from the relevant provincial construction authority and evidence of past performance on similar projects. Bid security equivalent to the specified earnest money must be deposited with each tender submission. All bids must comply with standardized specifications and technical sanction requirements issued by the Executive Engineer, Highway Division, Sargodha.
Bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Executive Engineer, Highway Division, Sargodha during working hours. Sealed tenders must be submitted to the same office on or before the closing date of June 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM. Bids will be opened on the same day in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Detailed specifications, bill of quantities, terms and conditions are available in the bid schedule. All work shall be executed strictly according to technically sanctioned detailed estimates and standard specifications. Unit rates in column six shall prevail in case of discrepancies with extended totals.
