Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Employees' Social Security Institution, Head Office in Gulberg, Lahore, invites sealed tenders from eligible engineering firms and contractors for seven works packages totalling approximately Rs. 29.43 million. The tender reference is IPL-5345. The projects include rehabilitation of Defence Services Stores in Lahore, reconstruction of boundary walls at Defence Services Housing Society, special repair and maintenance works at multiple locations including the Defence Road and Nawab Sadig Street facilities, and general maintenance at institutional premises. All works are located in Lahore, Punjab, and are scheduled for completion within three to four months from the date of award. The estimated total bid value is Rs. 1,471,500 with project completion dates in November 2025.
Eligible contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council, hold valid PEC and NTN certificates, and maintain current social security contributions with deduction documentation for the preceding twelve months. Firms must register on the E-Tendering and PPRA E-PADS websites as per PPRA rules and procedures. A bank guarantee or bid security in the form of a bank guarantee equal to five percent of the estimated cost must be submitted with the original guarantee having validity covering the project duration. Contractors are required to upload scanned copies of bid security and estimated costs to the PPRA E-PADS website before the tender closing deadline.
Bid documents are available on the PPRA E-PADS website with registration instructions accessible from the PPRA portal. Tenders will be received on a single-stage one-envelope basis. The tender closing and opening date is 18 June 2026 at 11:00 AM. All interested firms should note that incomplete bids, false guarantees, or failure to comply with PPRA rules will result in disqualification.
