Description / Scope of Work
Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), a leading gas distribution utility in Pakistan, invites sealed bids for the supply of flow through plugs and spares under tender enquiry number SNT-2320/26. The procurement covers various technical components required for pipeline operations across SNGPL's service areas in Pakistan. The scope includes supply of specified items with delivery to be made on Delivered at Place Unloaded (DPU) basis at the company's Faisalabad facility or as per the delivery schedule provided in the tender documents. The tender is being processed under a single stage two envelope bidding system requiring separate technical and financial proposals.
Bidders must be either foreign suppliers with local agents or local manufacturers and suppliers registered with relevant Pakistani authorities. Bids should include complete technical literature, questionnaire responses, detailed technical specifications with clause-by-clause commentary, quantity offered, and properly executed bid bonds. A valid bid bond in original as per instructions to bidders (clause 17, pages 7-8) must accompany each bid. All bids must remain valid for a period of ninety days from the tender closing date. Foreign suppliers offering DPU delivery basis must provide irrevocable offers in Pakistani rupees based on free delivery at Faisalabad, with copies of sales tax registration and income tax certificates if applicable.
Bid documents may be obtained from SNGPL's office at 21-Kashmir Road, Lahore, Pakistan. Original bid submissions comprising duplicate sealed covers marked as TECHNICAL PROPOSAL and FINANCIAL PROPOSAL must be submitted by 13-05-2026 at 14:30 hours to the General Manager (Procurement) at Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited, 1st Floor, Gas House, 21-Kashmir Road, Lahore. Public bid opening occurs at 15:00 hours on the same date at the registered office. Only one authorized representative per bidder, armed with an authority letter (annexure-I), may attend the opening.
