Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation, an autonomous corporation under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), invites electronic bids from interested contractors registered with the Income Tax Department and PRA Department for the transportation and carriage of industrial quality rock salt from Main Depot or New Depot to M/s. Olympia Chemicals at PMDC Salt Mines in Warcha for a period of one year. The total quantity of salt to be transported is 190,000 metric tonnes, including loading and unloading operations at both origin and destination points. This is a significant logistical procurement for the federal government involving mineral transportation services across Pakistan.
Eligible bidders must be registered with the Sales Tax and Income Tax Departments as well as the Punjab Revenue Authority, and must be on the active taxpayers list of the Federal Board of Revenue. A bid security of Rs. 900,000 in the form of a demand draft or pay order made in the name of PMDC Salt Mines, Warcha, is mandatory for all bids. Only scheduled bank pay orders or demand drafts are acceptable. Tenders without proper bid security or unsigned tenders will not be considered. The authorized representative of the bidding firm must present an authority letter from the firm to participate in the tender opening.
Electronic bid documents containing detailed terms, conditions, and procurement methodology are available for free download from the EPADS-PPRA website at https://eprocure.gov.pk. Electronic bids must be submitted on EPADS on or before 17 June 2026 at 11:00 AM, and will be opened on the same date at 11:30 AM in the presence of participating tenderers. Original bid security instruments must be submitted to the undersigned before the online submission deadline. The successful contractor will be required to sign the contract agreement on the approved transportation pattern within 10 days of receiving the acceptance letter.
