Description / Scope of Work
District Council Thatta invites online competitive bids from interested contractors and firms for the execution of forty-one infrastructure development and service provision works across various union councils in Thatta district, Sindh. The tender encompasses water supply line installations with bore and solar systems, construction of culverts, katcha roads and nallas, paving block provision and fixing, community center construction, sewerage line laying, solar street light installation, hand pump provision, and maintenance of religious structures. The total estimated cost of all works ranges from Rs 507,500 to Rs 3,000,000 per project, with a combined portfolio value exceeding Rs 85 million. All works are scheduled for completion within six months from the date of contract award. The tender notice is issued under Rule 17(1) SPPRA 2010 and shall be executed in villages and union councils including Sonda, Gujjo, Mehal, Indo, Mehar, Gulail, Jungshahi, Doomani, Girnar, Bijora, Chowbandi, Sukhpur, Ketibunder, Jhirrick, Soof Shoro, Baghan, Khan, Dubo, and Ghulamullah throughout the district.
Bid security (earnest money deposit) of five percent of the estimated cost for each work is mandatory. All interested contractors must be duly registered with relevant authorities and possess valid licenses for the type of work being undertaken. Online bidding through the EPADS system is mandatory, and bidders must ensure submission of technical and financial proposals as per prescribed formats and standards. The bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Chief Officer, District Council Thatta, Makli, during official working hours.
Online bids shall be submitted through the EPADS portal (https://epads.ppra.org.pk/) before the closing date of June 11, 2026. Physical or manual submissions are not accepted. Bid opening shall be conducted on the scheduled date as per tender requirements.
