Description / Scope of Work
The Punjab Irrigation Department invites encrypted electronic bids for the restoration of the Left Marginal Bund (LMB) from RD:0+000 to RD:1+000 along with wetting channel upstream of Panjnad Headworks in the Panjnad Canal Circle, Irrigation Zone Bahawalpur, Punjab. The estimated cost of this civil works project is Rs. 1,481,477 with a contract duration of 10 days. This tender is issued by the Panjnad Headworks Division under the Panjnad Canal Circle and represents a focused infrastructure restoration initiative for irrigation bund maintenance in the province.
All prospective bidders must be registered on the e-PADS Punjab portal (https://eprocure.gov.pk) and hold valid registration licenses with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category. Bidders must also be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Provincial Revenue Authority (PRA) with NTN and PNTN credentials, and compliant with Punjab Public Procurement Rules 2014. The bid security requirement is Rs. 74,100, calculated at five percent of the estimated cost, to be submitted in the form of a Certified Demand Draft (CDR) in favour of the Executive Engineer Panjnad Headworks Division. The bids validity period is 120 days.
Bidding documents are available for download from https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk and https://eprocure.gov.pk. All e-bids must be submitted through the e-PADS system before 2:00 PM on 10 June 2026, with original CDR documentation submitted half an hour before tender opening. The tender opening will occur at 2:30 PM on the same date at the Office of the Executive Engineer, Panjnad Headworks Division, Panjnad. Upon successful bid notification, the contractor must furnish a 10 percent Performance Guarantee in the form of a bank guarantee within 15 days as per PPRA Rule 56.
