Special Repair of 02 Hostels by UET Lahore Building and Works Department

The University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Building and Works Department invites tenders on a single stage one envelope bidding procedure for the special repair of two number hostels (A+B) at Rachna College of Engineering and Technology, Gujranwala (RCET). The estimated cost of work is Rs. 3,561,570 with a completion time of two months. This is a C-6 or above category project focused on essential hostel infrastructure maintenance and upgradation. The work is located in Gujranwala, Punjab, and is being executed under the PPRA E-Tendering system in accordance with PPRA Rules 2014 as amended and updated.

Interested contractors and firms must be registered on the Punjab PPRA website (www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk) to participate in this tendering process. Bidders are required to submit earnest money equivalent to 2% of the estimated cost as per PPRA Rule 27 (amended and updated). The bid security must be uploaded on the portal in the form of a Crossed Demand Draft (CDR) in favour of the Project Director, University of Engineering and Technology Lahore on or before the tender closing date. All original CDRs must be submitted with official letter heads at the office of the undersigned prior to tender opening.

Bidding documents are available for download from the PPRA website (www.punjab.eprocure.gov.pk) and the UET website (https://eprocure.uet.edu.pk). Contractors must submit completed bids online before 10:00 AM on 10 June 2026 (Wednesday). Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee and representatives from participating firms at the office of the Project Director, Building and Works Department, UET Lahore.
