Description / Scope of Work
District Council Vehari invites sealed bids for construction and rehabilitation of infrastructure works along Moharram Route across three tehsils in Punjab province. The project encompasses 21 individual works across Tehsil Mailsi, Tehsil Burewala, and Tehsil Vehari, including construction and rehabilitation of tuff tiles, soling, drainage systems, sewer lines, and RCC slabs. The total estimated cost of all works ranges from PKR 400,000 to PKR 6,160,000 per individual work item, with a combined scope of infrastructure development and maintenance in rural areas of Vehari district. Works are spread across multiple chaks and locations including Shah Sattar, Murad Pur, Mouza Khan Pur, Hussai Jaffriya, and Ludden, addressing critical drainage and access route infrastructure needs in the district.
Bidders must submit earnest money equivalent to 5% of their bid amount in the shape of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR). Eligible contractors should possess relevant experience in civil construction and infrastructure development. The bidding process is open to qualified contractors registered with appropriate authorities and meeting the technical and financial eligibility criteria specified in the bidding documents. All bids must comply with provisions outlined in the instruction to bidders and procurement-specific guidelines of District Council Vehari.
Bidding documents including invitation for bids, detailed specifications, drawings, bill of quantities, contract data, and security forms are available as part of the procurement package issued on 25 May 2026. Bidders are required to submit sealed bids before the closing date of 15 June 2026. Work execution timeline will be determined as per individual work orders upon contract award. Interested contractors should obtain complete bidding documents and submit their proposals in accordance with the prescribed format and submission procedures outlined by District Council Vehari.
