Description / Scope of Work
Rawalpindi Teaching Hospital Rawalpindi invites electronic bids and tenders from manufacturers, importers, sole agents, and income tax and sales tax registered distributors and suppliers for the procurement of general store items for the financial year 2026-2027. The bidding process is open to eligible suppliers capable of delivering goods on a free delivery to consignee basis. The invitation encompasses various categories of general store items as detailed in the attached schedule of requirements and technical specifications. Bidders must be original manufacturers or, in the case of imported goods, authorized sole agents or importers in Pakistan with valid documentation of manufacturing licenses or authorization letters from foreign principals. All suppliers must possess valid income tax and sales tax registration certificates and be registered with the Registrar of Companies in Pakistan.
Eligible bidders must have a minimum of one year of documented experience in supplying general store items to government or autonomous institutions. Bidders are required to submit bid security equivalent to two percent of the estimated price as per PPRA rules in the name of the Medical Superintendent, DHQ Hospital Rawalpindi. Additionally, bidders must submit an affidavit on stamp paper confirming they have never been blacklisted by any procuring agency and that they shall provide the required items throughout the contract period as per the demands of the concerned Medical Superintendent. All supporting documents including valid National ID Card, company profile, tax certificates, bank statements or balance sheets, and authorization letters are mandatory knock-out clauses.

Bids must be submitted electronically by 09 June 2026 at 11:00 AM, with opening scheduled for the same date at 11:30 AM. The bidding document itself contains complete instructions to bidders, general and special conditions of contract, and all requirements for technical and financial bids.
